Maria Yeriel is an Earthling Priest and a close acquaintance of Seol Jihu. She is also one of the infamous Six Crazies.
When she was introduced, Maria did not speak a single word and only used gestures. It was later revealed that she was trying to change her vulgar attitude. As she was forced to speak during an incident at the Neutral Zone, vulgar words immediately rained down from her mouth, effectively making all her previous efforts unfruitful.
Appearance[]
Initially, she was described as an elegant blonde maid with a ponytail in the Tutorial and the Neutral Zone. She is also described to have pale skin with cherry-red lips and small-statured.
Seol compares Chung Chohong to Maria because of their somewhat similar appearance and attitude. When Seol meets Maria outside of the Neutral Zone she is usually described to be wearing an oversized white shirt with wavy and unkempt hair but on missions, she wears an ice-white priest garb.
Personality[]
Despite her innocent appearance, Maria possesses an incredibly vulgar mouth and slobby attitude. She is incredibly materialistic, and will essentially never work for anyone if she isn't paid for it or draws a profit.She is very money-hungry.
Despite this, she is entirely capable of using a great deal of money if her life is in danger. Of course, albeit with great agony.She is very money-hungry.
She also had an overpowering love for pickles.
History[]
Although first meeting in the Tutorial, Maria became formally acquainted with Seol Jihu in the Neutral Zone as the designated maid for Korea (Area 1), where she ended up saving Yun Seora through a Ceremony at his behest in exchange for the bare minimum amount of Survival Points. He later contacted her to convince her to join a quest for a set sum. However, the quest leaves her losing a valuable artifact and almost dying. Despite this, Seol Jihu later manages to convince her to join in the Banquet at an even higher price where she was in danger again.
Before the Arden Fortress War, Seol approached Maria once more in hopes to recruit a priest that favors their group. Maria acted like she was going to work with Carpe Diem anyway and acted disappointed in Seol when he tried to give her money. Maria saw Seol as a product and this was an investment to greater profits. She ends up regretting it as once again, she almost loses her life.
She joins Carpe Diem before it turned to Valhalla in hopes that she would be able to get her hands on some of the wealth of the Rothschear family.
Powers & Abilities[]
As a priest of Luxuria, Maria specializes in healing. She is able to perform ceremonies for spells that are above her level as long as she has the offerings for it.
She is money-hungry, able to see potential for profit.
She can drink like a sailor despite being only 18.
